Joyce is 6 years old. She was born with a disease called EB — Epidermolysis Bullosa. Her skin is so fragile that it blisters and tears open on its own. Every morning, her mother has to carefully change her bandages. One wrong move causes a fresh wound. There is no cure. The only thing keeping Joyce's pain manageable is a constant supply of special medicines and medical bandages. Without them, her entire body becomes an open wound.
